I'm quite the catch, for a perfect Match

No... I didn't sign up for Match.com (thinking about it though... POF has been less then desireable). I donated blood today!! I was super excited when I found out I was able to donate today as the last three times I've tried, my Iron levels have been too low. Donating blood is one of the most selfless things one can do. It takes 30 minutes of your time and you help save a life! Plus, you get really yummy snacks and get to watch movies while you donate! A little fun fact... did you know that a 4 regular oreos have 10% of the daily value of Iron??! Needless to say, I enjoyed some Oreos last night to boost my chances for a higher Iron level!

I ALWAYS get turned down for low iron!!! So, I put myself on the bone marrow registry. That one is a little scary as the procedure would be a bit more involved but I just imagine the thought of knowing that you are a match to someone who's life you may be saving.

LOL I found the info at the Red Cross last time I got turned down to donate blood :)
