So long, farewell.

On Sunday, I brought Simon and Geno back to their original mommy. She decided to move back to Minnesota after things didn’t work out between her and her boyfriend when she moved out to Oregon to be with him. I knew it was the right thing to do for the boys, for Nicky (original mama) and ultimately me.

Here are a few things I’m going to miss about my boys.

1.Geno always snoozing in the bathroom sink. He barely fit but man was he cute!

2.Simon always greeting me at the door and then proceeding to tell me about his day. He was a talker that’s for sure.

3.Late nights on my patio brushing them. Simon loved it, Geno not so much. My deck still has kitty fur in places.

4.Simon hanging out on my coffee table while I watched TV. Geno on the couch next to me.
5.Simon and Geno laying on the tile floor in the bathroom on the really hot days. It’s the only thing that cooled them down.

6.Simon and Geno drinking from the bathroom sink faucet while I take a shower. It always had to be the perfect temperature and if it wasn’t, they weren’t afraid to tell me about!

7.How Geno would literally submerge himself while he was drinking from the faucet and then come give me a big wet kiss and shake off all excess water in my face.

8.Treat time. They knew exactly where their treats were and would remind me if I had forgotten to give them some.

9.Cat Nip. Enough said.

10.How they would snuggle with me every night. Their kitty kisses and hugs and unconditional love. No matter how bad my day was, they were always there to cheer me up.

Animals always have a way of leaving little paw prints on our hearts. I’ll miss them dearly but I am so happy that they are back with their original mommy who will love and care for them just as much if not more than I did.

I'm sorry they are gone now. That must be hard.

Aw...I didn't know both were going back to the owner. I'm sorry :( But I'm sure she is thrilled that you took such good care of them and gave them so much love!
