"I have always believed that hope is that stubborn thing inside us that insists, despite all the evidence to the contrary, that something better awaits us so long as we have the courage to keep reaching, to keep working, to keep fighting"-Barack Obama
No matter who you voted for yesterday... President Obama's words ring truth for any side of the aisle. He is still our President and I truly believe that he wants only the best for our Country. Our Country is divided and it will take hard work from both sides to meet in the middle. Change takes time, take patience, takes sacrifice, takes commitment, takes an open mind, takes more than 4 years. He has a big job and I admire his courage, strength and dedication to keep fighting for everyone.
On a different note, I am incredibly proud to be a Minnesotan today! Both our discriminatory Amendments will not be passed! It was a close race on both issues. Too close for my blood. I was up until 3am waiting to hear the results. I couldn't sleep knowing that my friends, neighbors, my own boss' families were being voted on. Thankfully MN voted No and today is a good day!
I think we all can breathe a sigh of "Finally, it's OVER!" now that the Election is done. I feel like I've been water boarded with Political ads, yard signs, phone calls. Blahhhhh. It's done! Life goes on. Praise, God!

This explains why you got so little sleep!
I understand now.
I was in bed by midnight, but that's because this lady normally can't make it past 10:30!
Hope you are feeling better rested today!
