I needed some cheering up so I bought myself a yellow rose.
(This is my desk at work... I have a bunch of pictures, quotes, magnets up. My work space is my home away from home so I like it to be reflected that way.)I normally don't buy myself flowers. I've always had it stuck in my head that flowers are to be a gift, typically from a significant other or friend. Not something you buy yourself. Today I said, "Screw it." I deserve something pretty to look at and cheer me up, and what better than a yellow rose.
I looked up the meaning of this color rose and here is what I found:

Promise of a New Beginning
Gladness
Delight
Warmth
Good Luck
Welcome Back
The words "Promise of a New Beginning" and "Welcome Back" really stuck out to me. I'm very much in a new beginning and soon enough I'll be back.

Sometimes you have to stop and buy the 'rose(s)'!
I have bought myself flowers...I never think of it as a big deal, it does always seem more special when they are bought for me, but sometimes the house or home away from home needs that little extra pizzaz!
You are on the road to many new and wonderful things I just know it!
